Show Volleyball season comes to an end for Wolfwomen Oct 26, the North Sevier Wolfwomen traveled to Manti High School for State Volleyball action. Their first game was against North Sanpete. With the help of the cheers from the fans who traveled to the game on the rooter bus, and the other fans in the audience, North Sevier won. In the first game Trecna Willardson served 5 consecutive points with the first game score North Sevier 15- - North Sanpete 9. The second game North Sanpete but in the third game won, 15-Trecna Willardson served the first point and DcDc Fillmore making a dink and north Sanpete hitting the game point out. This game ended with a score of North Sevier 15 North Sanpete 12. In this game High figures were Trecna Willardson with 5 serves, and 5 blocks. Jody Andrcason and Trecna Willardson with 3 kills each and Courtcy Christensen with 24 assists and 2 dinks. Lastcr that afternoon the Wolf-wome- n faced the Lady cats of Richfield at Snow College. ... 7, -- The first game saw Treena W lllardson serve the first point and after a tough match, Jerriann Hansen served the game point with the score ending North Sevier 15, Richfield 13. The second game saw Richfield taking it with a score of 15, North Sevier 4. This made a third game necessary. After a lot of blocks, sideouts, and great volleying on both teams, Richfield took the match with a score of 15-Saturday, the Wolfwomen traveled back to manti to take on last years State Volleyball champions, Morgan High, knowing they had to win this match or they would be out of the tournament. After two games the Wolfwomen packed up their Volleyball equipment and called it a season. At the 2A state finals Saturday at Snow College, Richfield rebounded from a first match loss to down 1989 runner up Delta, 15-- 0 and 15-Manti nipped South Sevier for third place honors, giving the Broncos fifth and sending the defending champions to seventh place. 2. 5, 7. 18-1- 3, SEASON ENDS: The North Sevier High School Wolfwomen ended this year's season last weekend, with the final game being played at Snow College.
