Show J 4" SuntstewsWedngsdav; March 7:1990 Sorosis will celebrate anniversary March 14 The Sorosis Club held its last meeting on Valentines Day at the home of Leah Conover. The program was presented by Mr. and Mrs. Keith Christensen, of Richfield. Mr. Christensen is a retired engineer and former Richfield City Manager. Mrs. Christensen retired from Utah Power and Light. Since their retirement, the couple has made their hobby of photography a top priority. Their love of Indians brought them to travel to Mr. & Mrs. McCullough honored on Anniversary all of the different Indian tribes throughout the United States, visiting their reservations, photographing the country, their homes, their people. After they showed the Club some of their favorite photography, the couple gave all in attendance a beautiful photo of a Shoshone Princess. The next meeting will be the Clubs Anniversary Party and will be held March 14, at the Cedar Creek Inn, at 7 p.m. food; and they were pulverized and made into cakes for winter storage. Alan Curtis completes real estate workshop J Alan Curtis, of Encore Realty, has just returned from attending a two day course on residential real estate. The course was held at the Little America Hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah. . Topics during the seminar included income tax information for the homeowner regarding the tax deductibility of interest, and methods to track the basis in a personal residence. Other areas included forms that will allow the professional to compare a fixed rate mortgage against an adjustable rate mortgage, compute the recapture point in a refinancing situation and simply and quickly qualify a conventional buyer. During the two days of lecture, discussion and workshop sessions, Curtis gained skills through simple to use forms to financially advise buyers and sellers in todays com- plex market As a result of the course, I have gained greater awareness of the role and responsibility of a sales associate in real estate financial counseling and will be better able to serve my clients and customers, Curtis added. Zachery Russell Sorenson celebrated his first birthday on February 17, 1990. His parents are Russell and Connnie Sorenson of Aurora.
