Show July i8, 1984 Salina Sun Society The Salina Sun Aurora Riding Club sets Free burger fry 2nd Annual Five Mile Milk Run Attention all runners, joggers and plodders! Wash the grass stains off the ol Nikes and join the rest of the hoofers at the Monroe City Park on Tuesday, July 24, at 7 a.m. for the 2nd Annual 5 Mile Milk Run. According to Kathie McFarlane, prizes for winners and participants include trophies, medallions, and gift certificates. The entry fee, is $7, or $2 which includes a without the Registration forms are available at the Sportkeeper in Richfield. Participants are encouraged to register early, said McFarlane. Final registration will be held from 6:15 a.m. to 6:45 a.m. the morning of the race. Families are asked only to bring a pot luck dish. Activities will begin at 6 p.m. and will include a public auction and a drawing for a 240 pound pig, and a feeder lamb. Wedding Bells Mr. and Mrs. Max Jacobsen are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Lori Peterson, to Brien W. Jolley, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Jolley, Angle, and Mr. and Mrs. Forum Young, Farron, Utah. The couple was married June 11, in Panguitch. Lori is a 1983 graduate of North Sevier High School, and a four year seminary graduate. She was listed in the Whos Who in 1981-82- ; att nded Girls state and was involved in band and drama. She attended Provo Technical College and Sevier Valley Tech. Brien is a 1983 graduate of TiccabooHigh School, where he was on the wrest ling team and track team. He attended Sevier Valley Tech in diesel mechanics. Lori and Brien are making their home in Panguitch, where he is employed building homes at Bryce Canyon. Catch 5 Softball Marathon Miss Denette Curtis, Salina, who attending Brooks College of Fashion Design and Market Managing, in Long Beach, CA, has been selected as a fashion coordinator of this Falls new fashions. Denette has selected the title, Free feeling for Fall 1984 as her theme for the new fashions. Denette has attended and says the new fashions are long coats and loose fitting chic clothing. She is amont 800 students, and is one of seven who draw a 4.0 average. Denette has spent ten days in Salina on her spring break and says it is always great to be back in Salina for a visit. Denette is the daughter of Jeanette Curtis and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marlin Sorensen. Cal-Ma- The Catch 5 Softball Marathon to benefit Easter Seals will take place in Price, August 11. All teams in the Price, Moab, Salina and sur- rounding areas are welcome and invited to participate. Registration must be completed before July 28th.
