Show TRAIN TRAVEL As I have menitoned before, most travel is done by train. I had to attend a meeting in Rome last week end, so I took the train. Rome is about 500 miles from here by rail, and it took eight hours and fifteen minutes lo go down, and five hours to come back, The trip down was on the father of the Sanpete Creeper, and he was old' After I came back in such a CHRYSLER NEW YORKER Air Condition, P.S. & P.B. $1690.00 Only 8 1957 PLYMOUTH SAVOY Hard Top, A Steal at Auto. They have first and second class, along with different types of trains. It is sort of like spinning a roulette wheel and winning to get the tickets one wants. There are slow trains, fast trains, and medium trains. The fastest is called Rapido; the middle is Accelerato, and last the Directto. When I checked schedules, I tried to reason. (It was a big mistake, I might add). I thought that the Direct (Directo) train would be the fastest. I ruled out the Accelerato, because it meant accelerated, and in Italy, nothing is accelerated! I then pondered over Rapido (Rapid). In my stay, I have become convinced that the people dont understand rapid. Rapid means, when I get around to it." So, proud at figuring out the train quiz, I climbed aboard the coldest and slowest. Thats another thing about Italy. Even when one logically figures out a problem, it is wrong.
