Mrs. Thursby was the last orig- inal pioneer of Ffhraim. She was 91 years old, and was the mother-in-lato L. R. Burr, who is a brother to G. M. Burr, Salina. Mrs. Keith Barrett, Mrs. Clyde Okerlund and Mrs. Mike Robin- son were hostesses to, the Tally Club, Friday evening. There were 20 present. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Rodger Nielson and Mr. and Mrs. Sammy Jorgenson, Dinner was served, after which everyone listened to muic and played games. Mrs. Ldra Taylor returned home Saturday, after visiting Mr. and Mrs. Mark Oldham and son, Kerry, at Augusta, Georgia, and points of interest since July 4th. Mrs. Taylor accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Udell Johnson on the return trip home. Max Sorenson, accompanied by Max Torgensj and Farrell Christiansen of Salt Lake, is spending a week in the mountains. Mr. and Mrs. Udell Johnson, accompanied by Mrs. John Johnson and newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. David Deaton, left July 24th for Fort Campbell, Kentucky, where Mr. and Mrs. Deaton now reside. Enroute home, Mr. and Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. John Johnson were accompanied by Mrs. Edra Taylor, who has been visiting in Georgia for the past month. They visited Mr. and Mrs. Alan Willardson of Columbus, Georgia; Mr. and Mrs.. Willy Hughes of Marion, Alabama, and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Murphy of West Helena, Arkansas. While touring, they saw many points of interest in the 15 states in which they traveled, including Utah. They returned home August 7th.
