Offices for which there are more than two candidates in-elu- de ar commissioner, county treasurer, clerk and sheriff. Candidates who have filed for these offices are: commissioner, Blaine Curtis, Vernon Johnson, both of Aurora, and Lester Jensen, Redmond; treas urer, Adelbert Wells, Wayne D Campbell and Ben M. Ains worth; clerk, J. L. Despain, J Dennis Farnsworth and Alvin J ar Hansen; sheriff, Roy Kiesel, Sa Aurora; Ray Forbush, Monroe; Allen Reed Blomquist, Grant Ross and Archie M. Hanchett, Richfield. The fires took a total of 303 man hours to bring under control, for an average of 20 hours and 15 minutes per man. Serving without pay, the volunteer group have one of the outstanding records in the entire Rocky Mountain area for holding losses from fire to a minimum.
