Sister Charlotte Maxfield, in her charming way, reminded the young sisters of their heritage their heritage from grandmother and grand- - from their country, father, America, and for what it has given each of us; our heritage from God and the important part it plays in our lives. Sister Maxfield reminded the young sisters of their responsibilities in return. Not what do you owe to me, but rather, how can I serve in my own way to make this a better America. She counseled the girls to ponder for a moment where all we have today came from. The suffering and hard work of those who came before them. Who settled this land. Who died and gave that each of us might enjoy the luxury of this free land. Sister Maxfield dwelt upon purity and cleanliness of the young sisters. That they are chidlren of God and as such have the right and obligation to meet their partners in life, clean and pure; marriage in the temple as a stepping stone for a successful marriage; to start life in marriage with the man who wants in life what you want; that each young lady has so much to offer. Each young lady, by counseling with her mother, can eliminate many costly mistakes in life. It is encouraging to hear this very personable sister dwell upon the supposedly little love, respect, things in life purity, work, service, and how they are stepping stones to happiness and a way of life with God. Sister Maxfield, Miss America of the past, is qualified to speak out to our youth. She is a mother of eight children, is busy teaching and working in the Church. - $t?OPAY WATER SUPPLY in the u s. comes umper fpa EPA AMP OURiSPIC-TIOTO ASSURE OS A CLEAN, HEALTHY SUPPLY OF PEIUKIM& WATER. The problem with government is far more serious than people realize, Sen. Gam said. We are facing an change in our form of government. This will not be change merely to a welfare state, but to a socialist system. Education and citizen action are the keys to reverse this process.
