Show Death Claims Ruth Nielsen Named To Life Of Six District Agency II. S. Native 5. 4.7 The appointment of Mrs. Ruth Nielsen, Salina, to the position of Technical Assistance Director for the Cooperative Service Agency, sponsored by the six school districts, Piute, Wayne, South Sanpete, North Sanpete, Juab and Sevier, was announced this week. Mrs. Nielsen replaces Dr. Voyle Munson, who resigned to accept a position with the Utah State Board of Education. The position is one of providing technical assistance to the six school districts and to act as a liaison officer between the State Department of Education and the school districts. Mrs. Nielsen, who is the wife of Roger Nielsen, Principal of the North Sevier High School, graduated from Springville High School, Pasadena City College and Brigham Young University, where she received her bachelors degree. Mrs. Nielsen has taught school in four districts, Sevier, Nebo, Alpine and South Sanpete. She resigned her teaching position in South Sanpete to accept this position with the Cooperative Service Agency. Mr. and Mrs. Nielsen are the parents of one daughter, Stefenee who is employed in California. Joseph He married Ardella Willardson May 30, 1917 in the Manti LDS Temple. She died February 7, 1926. His marriage to Zina Stringham was performed December 21, 1927 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She passed away April 28, 1968. A member of the LDS Church, Mr. Anderson held the office of high priest. He was a former owner of the Anderson Paint and Raid die Company and was a painting contractor. Survivors are: a daughter, Mrs. Yale (Erma) Beck, Salt Lake City; nine grandchildren; brothers, William, Twin Falls, Idaho; Carl, Salina, Sevier County; sister, Mrs. Anna Sutherland, Provo. Funeral services were held February 27 in the Ephraim South Ward and the burial was in the Ephraim Cemetery. A goat Mr. Christensen was born December 2, 1902 in Salina, the son of James Andrea and Nicolena Nielsen Christensen. He married Lavern Clark in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, September 23, 1931. A shoemaker by trade, he owned and operated the Standard Shoe Repair for 40 years. He served a Liberty LDS Stake mission. The survivors include his widow; sons, Charles, Richard, Keith and Eugene and a daughter, Mrs. Byron (Marilyn) Davis, all Salt Lake City; seven grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Rex E., Pocatello, Idaho; Oscar, San Bernardino, California; Clyde, St. George; Mrs. Amos (Julia) Rasmussen, Mrs. Victor (Mer-lin- e) Collard, both Nephi; Ivy, Mrs. Ralph (Frances) Martin, both Driggs, Idaho.
