I read the other day that the world is full of fools and there always is one more than you think. I guess being foolish is something that we grow better at as we get older. Theyre always telling us theres no fool like an old fool and youll have to admit theres nothing like experience. I know I do foolish things. I have a large bookcase full of books Im going to read someday when I get the time and so far I havent found the time to start but I keep buying more books. Im a fool when those tempting book curculars arrive. If youll look around you youll find that a man who thinks he never did anything foolish is the biggest fool of all and as Eden Phillpotts said You never know what a fool you can be till life gives you the chance. Now if youll pull up that old easy chair Ill let you in on some of the happenings around town and I hope I have the facts straight because I know some things are fireproof, many things are waterproof, but nothing is foolproof. Every man has his follies, and often times they are the most interesting things he has Josh Billings got."
