Womens meeting beckons delegates from local area good contingent of Box Elder County women will attend the first statewide Womens Meeting planned in Salt Lake City on Friday and Saturday, in the Salt Palace, June according to a report by the reservations committee. Goal of the meeting is to promote discussion of womens issues; recognize womens achievements and contributions; develop a state plan of action; and elect 14 delegates to the National Womens Conference in Houston, Texas, in November. Theme for the meeting is The Voice of Womankind and A 24-2- cess; Jean Macbeth, junior princess; Becky Crandall, guide; Pam Miller, marshall.
