This is how it worked for Richard Pixton. His best friend was dating Julie Johnson. Richard asked the friend to introduce him to his cute date and as things turned out he fell in love with her, they were married in the Logan LDS temple and now shes the Good Cook for this week. Julie Johnson Pixton was born and educated in Brigham City and graduated from Box Elder High school. She also attended Utah State university in Logan. The Pixtons live at 891 North 250 West in Brigham city. The active young couple are the parents of five children. Krisel is 7 ; Richard Jr . , 6 ; Ryan, 4 ; Megan, 3, and Jason is just one year old. Mr. Pixton is employed with Utah Power and Light company. WENDY NANCE AND JOSEPH E. MORGAN Immaculate Housekeeper Julie is an immaculate housekeeper besides taking care of her small children. She is also an exceptional seamstress. She makes Couple circles date for June temple rite most of her own clothes and the clothes of her children. She is accomlished enough to even tailor the boys suits and make hats for the little girls, said one of Julies friends. Julie has been active in PTA and other community activities and is at the present time serving as homemaking instructor in her LDS ward. She also teaches the Merry Miss girls in Primary. A talented girl, Julie was giving a home permanent when this reporter called. She was gracious enough to take time out to visit. Julie specializes in many delicious recipes, but she said, Like most young homemakers I still have a little trouble making gravy. Julie would like to share the following recipes with our readers. President Sandra Kranz presided at the bunch and provided members with information for May golfing activities. Decorations and brunch arragements were made by Carol An Gunderson. Annette Bailey, who was in charge of golf play during April, gave prizes to the following winners: Alma April 6 blind bogey Bryant, low gross; Pauline Dietz, low net; Bonnie Morgan, eggs c. sifted flour Crumble yeast into warm water. Add salt, sugar and shortening to scalded milk and cool. Add potatoes, eggs, yeast mixture, and flour. Mix till smooth. Roll out dough 4 thick. Cut with doughnut cutter. Cover and let rise 1 hour. Fry in hot fat at 420 degrees. Glaze, sugar, or frost. FRESH STRAWBERRY PIE (Easy) pkg. danish dessert 2 T. Saute onion and garlic in butter over medium heat. Add meat and brown. Add flour, salt, pepper, and mushrooms. Cook 5 minutes. Add soup, simmer uncovered 10 minutes. Just before serving, stir in sour cream and heat through. Sprinkle with parsley. Serve with noodles tossed with a lump of butter and chopped parsley. May 13 has been circled by the couple for their wedding date, with the ceremony to be performed in the Thatcher-Penros- LDS ward by Bishop J. Dell Petersen. Miss Thatcher will graduate from Bear River High school and LDS Seminary this spring, and has served on the ZCMI Youngtimers Fashion board.
