Good Time Everyone who went reported on a good time and they all said they enjoyed putting on the skit in behalf of Donna Green who was running for state treasurer. Those present from our area e included Donna Weaver, Wood, Deon Ferry, Debby DeVree, Kris Zundel, Pam Braegger, Wilma McLean, Lori Braegger, Karen Reed, Marilyn Bodily, Germaine Page, Liz Oki, Donna Green, Nona Mae Rose, Kathy Olsen, Nancy Whitaker, Merlene Braegger and Jackie Braegger. The second ward Merrie Miss Girls held their Date with the theme of sportsman. To carry through they decorated with pictures depicting different sports and had camping and skiing equipment placed around the room. Two get acquainted games butter-u- p and fill in the blanks were played before a dinner of sloppy joes, salads, chips and homemade root beer. The program was as follows: Trina Beckstead gave the opening prayer. Explanatory talks on the .Merrie Miss program were given by Ronda Johnson and Katie and Kathy McRae. The last games played were fishing for the monkeys, hunting for the deer and golfing with a dustmop and orange. The father and daughter tribute was by Dick Naylor and his daughter Kelli Jo. , A touching moment of the evening came when Tanya Flor-ec- k presented Norma Dee Torgeson with a corsage for her work as a former teacher of the girls. The closing prayer was by Tami Campbell. After a dinner of meat loaf, baked potatoes, jello, tossed salads and hot rolls with strawberry sundae, the group enjoyed games and dancing.
