Mr. and Mrs. Earl Pierson and son Russell remained as overnight guests at the Boyd Taylor home and returned home Saturday. by Fie Munson Deepest sympathy is extended to Mrs, Nine Lamb and her family in the death of her father, Herman S. Thompson, of Ctarfcston on Nov. 19. Thompson was well known throughout Bear River Valley having been affiliated with the Western Seed company in Tremonton. He was 92 years of age. Funeral services were conducted in the Clarkston ward chapel Monday with burial taking place in the Clarkston ceme-;ter- Ket-chur- a, y. Accompanying Mrs. Lamb to the viewing at the Nelson Mortuary in Logan Sunday evening and also to the funeral Monday in Clarkston were Mr. and Mrs. Tom Grill and family of Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Vem Deakin and family of Tremonton, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Owen and family of Fielding and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Owen and family of Plymouth. Visiting Mrs. Ethel Rudd Sunday afternoon were Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Rudd and daughter Tamra and. Mrs. Laurel Johansen and baby of Layton. ' Visiting Mr. and Mrs. J. B. .Estep during the week were Mr. and Mrs. Ira Archibald of Willard and Mr. and Mrs. Leland Cottle of Trenton. Wednesday Mrs. Jane Udy accompanied her sisters Miss Mary Hess of Brigham City and Mrs. Lenore Silvester of Riverside to Logan where they were by their brother DeVerl 6lined ess and enjoyed dinner at the Juniper Inn. ; FunDay Thursday Mrs. Jane Udy accompanied by Mrs. Lenore Silvester of Riverside, Miss Mary Hess of Brigham City and Mrs. Eva Zundel of Ogden enjoyed a fun day in Salt Lake City where they visited Trolley Square, the Valley Fair Mall, ZCMI Mall and enjoyed dinner at the downtown restaurant. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Stokes and daughter Jana and Mrs. Newel Nish accompanied by Ricky Stokes of Roy and Mr. and Mrs. Don Nish and family of Bountiful attended a basketball game at West High in Salt Lake City who played Bear River High. Following the game they visited at the Don Nish home in Bountiful. Saturday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Estep were Mr. and Mrs. Michael Robbins of Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Gardner Udy enjoyed Sunday dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Bryce Udy and family in Tremonton. Attending a dinner party at the home of Mrs. Ferrel Williams Sr. in Malad Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Lamb and family of Plymouth, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Udy and family of Portage and Mr. and Mrs. Ferrel Williams and family of Malad. Saturday visitors at the home of Mrs. Loretta Starr were Mrs. Vaudis Skinner and son Bill of Salt Lake City. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Ray Whiting attended a dinner party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Sandall and family in Tremon- MedlcalCare ' ' Mr., and Mrs. Newel Nish accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Ru-Io-n Rudd to Ogden Wednesday where Rulon Rudd entered the McKay hospital for medical care.
