The home tour is planned from 3 to 7 p.m.'and homes may be visited in any order by those purchasing tickets for the popular event. Tickets will be priced at one dollar for adults, with children under 12 not to be taken ' on the tour. In addition, the club will be selling chances on two living evergreen trees which may be decorated for the holiday season and then planted outdoors in the spring by the lucky winners. Five Homes Five homes will be included in this years holiday tour and all are designed for families. Some will show certain special features, and others will include tours of the entire home. Included will be the homes of and Mrs. Peter Evanoff, Mr. and Mrs. William Konieczki, Mr. and Mrs. Neil Bessinger. An example of the family emphasis in the homes is the room addinew kitchen-famil- y tion that will be featured at the Laird home, where a family project has been to add 12 feet to their existing kitchen to form a dining area and a cozy tv corner to be enjoyed with children Steve, age 14; Leslee, age eight; and Paul, age five. Latest Appliances Harvest yellow and orange set the color scheme for the new kitchen, which Arlee Laird really enjoys. Shes having fun learning to use the microwave oven, cooking on a new range with built-i- n barbeque and griddle, and finds the trash com-- ' pacter really great. Although they contracted the actual construction, Leslie Laird put his talents to work on all the finishing touches and the dining area is really lovely with its striped wallpaper, orange-hue- d floorcovering, and marching orange carpet in the television corner. Now the family is eagerly awaiting arrival of a sink, chairs, and barstools for the breakfast bar to complete the new addition. The old appliances didnt go to waste, either, for Arlee now has a canning kitchen in the basement close to her freezer and storage area so she wont have to "mess up her pretty new kitchen during the canning season. . Tickets for the home show may be purchased from Karo-ly- n Humphrey, chairman, or Mary Stoner, president of the Civic Improvement club, or from any member of the organization. They may also be purchased at the first home visited and will then be punched as each home is visited. nt i KAY LYNE CRANER AND KURTIS BALLARD Local couple will wed ; in early December rite and Mrs. James Craner of Mantua announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter Kay Lyne to Kurils Ballard of Brigham City, son of Vee Lynn Ballard of Logan and Mrs. Boyd J.
