David Scott and sons Dan and Daren are enjoying a different kind of week vacation. Thurson day the three fellow left motorcycles for Ganges, Mich., where they will purchase a new truck, load their motorcycles onthe truck and drive home. Enroute they will visit relatives in various areas in Michigan. Last Sunday evening Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Welling and family attended a testimonial in the Harper ward chapel where Mrs. Wellings brother, Mark Wight Nicholas was honored prior to entering the Language Training Mission at the Brigham Young university in Provo. He will leave for Chile to fulfill a LDS mission. The annual ward outing was held at the Earle Park Friday evening and Saturday morning. Approximately 75 attended. A picnic lunch was enjoyed along with a social Friday evening. Mrs. MerLynn Kent favored with two solo's. Many remained overnight and although some returned to their homes they again joined the group Saturday morning for an enjoyable pancake breakfast with bacon and eggs. All report having had a delightful time. Glen Burningham of Bountiful spent the weekend as a guest of David Rudd. ' Boyd and Judy Coombs Udy proudly announce the arrival of a baby boy born July Saturday tor Eagles get together their regular dance. The dance will begin at 9 p.m. at the aerie hall. Rulon came especially to attend funeral services for Hyrum Godrey. Mrs. Sara Moss spent Tuesday visiting her daughter Miss Mary Jane Moss in Salt Lake City. .Mr. and Mrs. Claude Allred accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Holdaway and grandsons Colby and Jason to Rupert where they atspent the holiday weekend tending horse races. Spending the holiday weekend visiting Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Garn were Mrs. Nancy McCulloch and daughter Kaylene of Sunset. anniversary. Thursday evening Mrs. Lovinnie Holt, Mrs. Althea Wilcox, Mrs. Karen Wilcox and daughters Diana and Amy Jo, Mrs. Elma Petersen along with Mr. and Mrs. Sid Sorenson and Mrs. Valoise Sorenson of East Garland attended an open house at the Hains House in Ogden honoring Mr. and Mrs. LaVern (Ina Petersen) Wilcox who were observing their golden wedding anniversary. Monday a Petersen family gathering was held at the ward building. Attending were Mrs. Elma Petersen, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Bywater and family of Fielding, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Sorenson and family, Mr.' and Mrs. Lee Allen and family, Mr. Luncheon Guests Luncheon guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Munson and family Friday were Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Edwards and daughter Jean of Logan. The Relief Society is having its Hompmaking Day at Earle Park July 13. All mothers and daughters are invited. There will be demonstrations on finishing furniture. Crafts will also be available. Mother's are asked to bring lunches for their children. Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Earl and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Earl enjoyed, a dinner party at Maddox Ranch House in Perry.
