Show i Tremonton Tales Nevadans spend time here, attend funeral by Flo Munson Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Pierson and children Greg, Jana and David of Sparks, Nev., have been spending the past week visiting Bishop and Mrs. Virgil Francom. They also 'visited Dallass parents Mr. and Mrs. Harmon Pierson in East Gar-lan- d. .While here Mr. and Mrs. Francom, Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Pierson accompanied by Mrs. Wendy Houch of Fort Collins, Colo., attended funeral services for Mrs. Grace Stoler held in the Russon Brothers mortuary in Salt Lake City. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Francom Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Francom of Brigham City. Spending the past few days visiting Mr. and Mrs.. Ed Deak-i- n were Mr. and Mrs. Terry Johnson and son Tyler of Grand Junction, Colo. The small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Val Fifield was blessed by her father in the Sixth ward sacrament meeting Sunday and given the name of. Natalie Ann Fifield. Following the meeting a dinner party wS held at the Val Fifield home. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Fifield, Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Fifield and family of Brigham City, Mr. and Mrs. Duane Norman and family of Perry. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Sandall, Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Sandall and family, Mr. and Mrs. Clifton G. M. Kerr, Dr. and Mrs. 7 Duane Kerr and family have been spending a few days relaxing and fishing at Henrys Lake. Fred Wyatt of Boise Family Party President and Mrs. Gerald Simmons and family entertained at a family dinner party at their home for their son Gary on his birthday anniversary. Gary has just recently returned after LDS fulfilling a Mexico-Torreo- n Mission. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Manning of Tremonton, Mrs. Aileen Simmons of Beaver Dam and Miss Camilee Chlarson of Honey-vill- and daughters Mariam and Shirleen and sons David and . e. Friday Mrs. June Garfield and Mrs. LaVon Garfield visited Mrs. Wanda Cook in Salt Lake City. Mayor and Mrs. Max Mason and daughters Marcea and Jac-qu- e have been enjoying a few days at Sherwood Hills where they played tennis, relaxed in the pool and attended the pertheatformance of the out-doer Little Mary Sunshine, which they pronounced fantastic. Spending the holiday weekend visiting Mr. and Mrs. Jess Garfield were Mr. and Mrs. Don Garfield and daughter Kerry and sons Craig and David of Las Vegas. Miss Odessa Wyatt of Bountiful has been spending a few also visited at the Cochran home during the week. Monday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs.T. L. Brough, Mr. and Mrs. Jess Garfield joined Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bowcutt for a picnic luncheon in Logan Canyon. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Child of Ogden are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Mark Harris and family and getting acquainted with their new grandchild, a little boy born July 1 in the Logan hospital. Mrs. Polly Smith ;enjoyed dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Delon Stokes and family in Bothwell Monday. The small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steve (Vickie Petersen) Pollock was blessed in the First Ward sacrament meeting Sunday by her father and given the name of Heather Pollock. Following the meeting a patio dinner party was held at the home of Mrs. Pollocks parents Mr. and Mrs. Orval Petersen. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Guy Pollock of Richfield, Mr, and Mrs. Stan Pollock of Logan. Visiting .Mr. and Mrs. Paul Sanders and family during the week were Mr. and Mrs. Leon Sanders and daughter Melanie and sons Steven and Calvin of Powell, Wyo. Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Sanders were Mrs. Sanders parents Mr. and Mrs. Ivan R. Briggs of Farmington. Last week Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Bunnell attended a wedding ceremony in the St. George Temple where their granddaughter Holly Lee Foutz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hal B. (Liane Bunnell) Foutz became the bride of David Allen Lefler of Las Vegas. The Bunnells were accompanied by Mrs. Brad Palmer and son Jason of Tremonton. Their granddaughter Miss Becky Litchfield of Boulder, Colo., also joined them, along with Mr. and Mrs. Duane Bunnell and family of Provo and Mr. and Mrs. David (Ellen Foutz) Sinquefield and son Tyler of Green River, Wyo. Lyric Theater in Logan. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Wil- ord Rogers spent the day in Salt Lake City visiting friends. Diane Hill spent several days during the weekend visiting Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Rogers while her parents Mr. and Mrs. Don Hill and son Dustin of Garland were at Lava Hot Springs. Randel and Lorrie Sandall Bowen of Collinston are happy over the arrival of a baby girl born June 29 in the Logan hospital. The new baby will be named Angela June Bowen. The Bowens have a small son Michael at home. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Bowen of Beaver Dam, Dee Sandall of Phoenix and Mrs. June Sandall of Long Branch, N. J. Great grandparents are Mrs.' Goldie King of Highlands, N.J., Mrs. Helen Miller of Tremonton. A great great grandmother Mrs. Debra Bouge lives in Highlands, N.J. Its A Boy Following the wedding the group drove to Las Vegas where they joined Mr. and Mrs. Ernest (Oneta Bunnell) Lichfield of Boulder and Mr. and Mrs. Hal Foutz of Fullerton, Calif. A garden reception honored the newlyweds in Las Vegas . June 26. 'Meet Friends The Bunnells enjoyed meeting and visiting with several couples formerly of Tremonton Mr. and Mrs. Don Garfield, Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Bourne Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Simmons, Dr. and Mrs. Max Davis. The family group enjoyed a lovely turkey dinner before each departed for their home. Miss Teressa Temple of Burley accompanied the Bunnells home and will visit Mrs. Brad Palmer. Thursday evening Mr. and Mrs.- Wilford Rogers accompanied by Mrs. Estelle Moody of Logan attended the performance of The Contrast at the Mark and Debra Gleason Harris of Tremonton welcomed a baby boy born in the Logan hospital July 1. They have two children at home Mona Michelle and Mark James, The new baby will be named Michael Gregory Harris. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Harris of Logan, Rex Gleason of Deweyville and Mrs. Cloteel Child of Ogden. Mrs. Sylvia Goodey of Clarkston is the great grandmother. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Earl Fuhriman recently were Mrs. Fuhrimans brother-in-laand sister President and Mrs. Ivan Radman and family who were enroute from Rome, Italy where President Radman has served as mission president to Christ Church,. New Zealand where he will continue to serve as mission president. Dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Callister Sunday were Dr. and Mrs. Lyle Archibald and three children of Ogden, TOM1 ,4U 77TiT?C Mr. and Mrs. Rodger Callister of Logan, Crig Callister and Alice Petersen of Salt Lake City. Among those who spent the holiday weekend at Island Park were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Frank and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Green and family, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Green and family, Mr. and Mrs. Sid Cutler and family, Mr. and Mrs. Clare Gay and grandchildren and David Wheatley. The small son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Hyer was blessed by his father in the Fifth ward sacrament meeting Sunday and given the name of Kent James Hyer. Visitors at the Hyer home following the meeting were Mr. and Mrs. Ben Call of Bountiful, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hyer of Garland, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Castleton of Logan, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Hyer of Springville, Marvin Hyer of Sandy. Mr. and Mrs. Dewayne Falk and family and Mr. and Mrs. Darold Scothern and family spent the holiday weekend at Lava Hot Springs where they enjoyed swimming. Mrs. Darwin Harris and children will arrive from Auburn, Calif., Saturday to visit Mr. and Mrs. Jack Frank and family. They are coming especially to attend the testimonial for Elder Jeffrey Frank held in prior to his leaving for a LDS Mission in Norway. The small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Fuhriman was blessed by her father in sacrament meeting Sunday and given the name of Camine Fuhriman. Following the meeting a dinner party was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Fuhriman.
