It was here they fell in love and were married. Both Trina and her husband are graduates of Bear River High school and LDS seminary, Douglas is now serving as bishop of the Portage ward. He is a successful farmer and raises hereford cattle. The Gibbses are parents of four sons and one daughter Robert, 13; Bruce, 11; Darin, 9; Shaundel, 5, and Jeffrey, 3. An uncle, Arthur Gibbs, 83, also makes his home with them. Bishop Gibbs has a quarter horse, Misty Lou, who is considered part of the family. Officers to be installed during the meeting will be Kathy Christensen, president; Luette Halliday, vice president; Faye White, historian; Ann Davis, secretary; Elaine Windley, treasurer; Judy WHOS Of Intern Roger and Judy Macfarlane Newman of Bothwell announce the arrival of a baby girl born Feb. 12 at the LDS hospital in Brigham City TOPS 69 club meets weekly at Holy Cross Lutheran church. Last weeks club honors were won by Faye Andrew as TOPS queen of the week and Lois Greenlee as KOPS queen of the week. Anyone interested in the club goal to take Off Pounds Sensibly is invited to attend the meetings, with weighin from 6 to 6:30 p.m. and meeting time from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Logan. Mrs. Elma Petersen of Fielding is the great grandmother. Bob and Kay Dean Nielson Martin of Tremonton are happy over the arrival of a baby boy bora Feb. 11 in the Logan LDS hospital. They have two boys and two girls at home. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Glen F. Nielson of Tremonton, Cecil Martin of Tacoma, Wash. Book Lore club hears review on Winsor book Book Lore Club met at the home of Helen Westenskow Mr. and Mrs. L. Oleen Nelson of Bear River City announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Kristy to James Craig Christensen, son of Mrs. and Mrs. James Mack Christensen, also of Bear River. The couple will exchange wedding vows on March 15 in the Bear River City LDS ward. Following the ceremony the newlyweds will be honored at a reception held in the ward cultural hall. Miss Nelson is a graduate of Box Elder High school and LDS Seminary. The prospective bridegroom also is a graduate of Box Elder High school and a LDS Seminary graduate. He has attended Utah State university and is now self employed and engaged in farming. Potatoes in storage are 13 percent over last years stocks in the western region of the potato belt. Marketing specialists of the U.S. Department of Agriculture say this plentiful supply will continue into March. Civic Improvement Club will focus on heart month for its meeting of Thursday, Feb. 27, at the Community Center. Dr. C. Basil Williams of Ogden, a former Brigham City resident, will be guest speaker at the meeting and will present a film and lecture entitled You and Your Heart. Members are encouraged to bring guests for the meeting, according to program chairman Mrs. Leon Packer. Add eggs and vanilla. Add flour and dry ingredients. Roll out and cut with cookie cutters. Bake on breased cookie sheet at 350 degrees. Do not overbake if you desire soft cookies. For crips cookes bake until light brown.
