Show BOX ELDER Thursday, December 5, 1974 Tremonton Tales Family visits aunt, 101 years old by Flo Munson Mr. and Mrs. Jay Holmgren and Mrs. Ruby Scholer returned home Saturday after spending several days in Cardston, Canada, where they visited Mrs. Holmgrens aunt, Mrs. Elizabeth Holland who is 101 years of age. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Keith Bevans and family and Mr. and Mrs. Waldo (Wilma) family. were played, a social enjoyed and dainty light refreshments served. Christy was the recipient of lovely and useful and Andersen Mirl Thanksgiving Enjoying dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Vance Bourne and family were Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Bourne and son Brad of West Fielding. Spending the Thanksgiving holidays visiting Mr. and Mrs. Bill Chapman and family were and sister, Bills brother-in-laMr. and Mrs. Robert Miller and family of Bremerton, Wash. They all enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Chapman in Logan. Spending the past week visiting Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Worley were Mrs Cora Burnett of Brigham City, Marsha Worley of Logan and Miss Janet Other Worley of Ogden. Smith and family. Enroute home they visited the Charles Russell Museum in Great Falls, Mont. Dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Garland Puzey on Thanksgiving Day were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Puzey and of Gene Ogden, Jorgenson, Mr. and Mrs. T.L. Cochran and Mrs. Phyllis Pope of Tremonton. The Literary Guild met at the home of Mrs. Pearl Rogers Tuesday evening. Mrs. Nell Puzey read two Christmas The Man Who stories Missed Christmas by J. Edgar Park and The Three Chests by Merle N. Flo Munson of Fielding received a delightful phone call from Jim and Ruby Cooke, former residents of Tremonton, now living in Louisville, Ky., on Thanksgiving evening. Jim and Ruby send holiday greetings to their many friends in Bear River Valley. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Weiler and family had as their dinner guests on Thanksgiving Day Mr. and Mrs. Wynn Hansen of Fielding and Miss Vicki Hansen, a student at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Lions Meet The Lions Club met at the Lions Den Wednesday evening for their regular meeting. District Governor of the Lions Club Lee Olsen and the Cabinet Secretary DeVere Weight were the guest speakers. Plans were formulated to have ladies night Dec. 18 for a Christmas party. Theo Bishop and Mrs. Coombs and family spent the Thanksgiving Enjoying Mrs. and Mr. with Lowell Estep and family were Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Estep of Plymouth and Doug Estep of Provo. Rytting met Dr. and Mrs. Owen J. Jones of Mesa in Provo and attended a volleyball game at the BYU. BYU won the championship and will now play in national competition in Portland on Dec. 11. Kellie Jones was one of the participants. Mrs. Don Potter underwent surgery at the Logan hospital Tuesday of last week.
