Show f f BOX ELDER JOURNAL, ODDacdl boy opens The Willard Bay State Recreation area will be officially open this Friday. While the north marina will be open, Bert Florek, ranger in charge, urged boaters to use the south marina because steep slopes and roughness of en- trance roads at the north marina could cause damage to motors on some boats. He said that for the first time this year, the south marina and camping area will offer volleyball, badminton and horseshoe pitching activities. He also said that all equipment for the sports will be furnished free of charge. Those desiring to use the equipment may check it out at the silver ranger trailer near the concession building. The concession stand at the south marina should also be open Friday. The fee schedule will be the same this year as last. Brigham Cify, Utah April 1, 1974 1 Matay There will be a $1 per day use fee which includes boat launching and use of all other facilities. There is also a $1 charge for overnight camping in addition ot the regular day fee. The annual $10 state parks fun tag will also be available this year. They can be obtained from rangers at the park. The fun tag is honored at all 43 state parks in Utah. It allows day use of all facilities and a discount on overnight camping. Ranger Florek said that for those who boat and stay overnight more than four times a year, the fun tag would save both time and money. Boaters are urged to read the state boating regulations they received with their 1974 boat registration because of changes made to the boating regulations this year. Those having questions may contact any ranger on duty at the ranger office, south marina. Rudolph . . .
