Even after being discharged he had doctors orders to stay flat on his back with his leg elevated so he and his wife were forced to stay with their daughters family. The Sunday before Christmas the Jeppsons son, Kent and his wife, Diana and their two children Jeri Lynn and Tyler flew to California so the family could be together for Christmas. They then drove the Jeppsons car home. Mr. and Mrs. Jeppson flew home when Sunbeam Vacuums under a doctors care and must be very careful, but at least he is home. Now Home Betty Anderson was happy to have her son Dan home from the service. After completing his basic training at Fort Polk, La. he had 19 days of leave.
