In most communities this means new excitement and activity. In our town Monday was a quieter day than usual. School the school didnt start-a- s building is in the midst of a roofing job. Many young people left Grouse Creek to return home after their summer here. And our new high school students moved away for the winter. So actually it is very quiet and a bit lonely for some of us. - have been several Irma Warburton took her children and her mother-in-laGrace Warburton to Ogden last weekend where they attended the Chadwick Reunion in North Ogden on Saturday. Then on Sunday Irma and family joined the Christensen Family in Brigham at the park for an enjoyable reunion, Warburtons lost their hired h man on Friday. Leonard came out from Brigham to get his son Len, or Friday and take him back for school. Lens brother and sister also came out. After working hard all summer, maybe it will be easy to go back to school this year? teaching Merle and attended the also members of Judys family for a lovely dinner in the Williams back yard. Opal said the baby is darling and they all had a wonderful time being together. Larry and Grant Kimber also returned to their home and the Dennis Kimber family in Logan on Saturday. They have been here several weeks with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Kimber, and have helped Lyman Kimber with the haying. Lyman took the boys back home then joined his wife, Eula, in Salt Lake. There they attended missionary farewell services for Eulas niece, Becky Runyon, who is leaving to fulfill an LDS mission, Eula had been visiting with her mother, Mrs. Bertha Kimber there also. Chuck and Cathy Kimber and baby, of Brigham have been out to their summer home here the past couple of weekends. Charles and Leah Kimber were also out this weekend. The men have been getting their haying done and all visiting relatives and Fern Kimbers sister and her husband, her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hatch of Randolph, were here over the weekend. They visited with Fern and Norman Kimber and children at their home here. Jack and Marian Kimber and in family spent Friday Tremonton enjoying the county fair. On Monday Marian took Gwen and Jackie Kimber down to school in Tremonton and helped them get settled in an apartment there. At High School Also attending Bear River High school this year is Janet Blan thorn. Bryan and Bobbi and sons, Blanthorn Sammie and Corey, were in Tremonton for a couple days. They enjoyed the Fair and visiting with Peggy and Lynn Kay and children and left Janet to live with the Kays this winter. The Raymond Kimber family enjoyed Thursday at the fair in another couple of years until Gary gets through high school anyway. Steven Kimber lives with them and works in Ogden. Grant is employed with the BLM and he and his father, E.O. Kimber also keeps the home Bountiful, Craig White to Orem, Mike Clark back to Brigham. The grandsons have been helping hay this summer. Brenda will be through working in Malta by the middle of September and will join Randei here to live permanently. We will be happy to have them back. The entire Oren Kimber family, children, in - laws and grandchildren all met together recently in Brigham for a special occasion. Judy and Kent better. is feeling Jodi Olsen of Brigham was a weekend guest of Gary Kimber and the Grant Kimber family last weekend. She joined them for an evening at the Burley she along while The Carol lost their summer visitors. Marshall Tanner went back to Stephanie, was good news this week from Mrs. Evva Deakin. Hughie visited with Russell Lee in Ogden Sunday and he said his sister was doing much better again. She is able to be up around and take care of herself. The family went Keith and Joyce Clayton White and families came to Brigham to get their boys. Allen Tanner had taken them down and all had enjoyed a day at the fair on the way. Blair and Brian Thompson were also with them. Eilene and Bob Torrey and family were here Saturday from Brigham visiting Herb and Vera Tanner. Harry a friend came along on a business trip. Opal and Oren Kimber spent Friday in Bountiful with Karla and Reed Beecher and family. Oren also went to get his car fixed. Lee and Deon Kimber and children, Le Grande and soon. Mc-Cos- Tanner. They all attended the county fair during the weekend. On Saturday night Dell and Ella drove out to Malta and spent Sunday with Doug and Kathleen Tanner and daughters. On Monday Dell and Ella drove to Burley on a business trip. Herb and Vera Tanner also Floyd Tanners, family held the past few reunions weeks. Return to Brigham Dell and Ella Tnaner took their grandchildren back home on Friday. Bruce and Dee Tanner, sons of Gordon and Joan, returned to their home in Brigham, Craig and Teresa are back in Ogden with their parents, fires burning in Gourse Creek. Uncle Oz Kimber has been in Brigham for a week with his sister, Mrs. Chloe Tanner. He went to visit his daughter, Mrs. Effie Ballingham, who has been confined to the McKay hospital in Ogden for a couple of weeks. Effie has had arthritis, then contacted pneumonia. The 15 seaports in (UPI) Florida recorded new highs in value of imports and exports during 1972, according to the Florida State Chamber of Commerce.
