Erickson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Erickson of Timber Lake, South Dakota. The couple exchanged vows in a lovely double ring ceremony performed on July 28 at Sherwood Hills Retreat by the Honorable Judge VeNoy Christofferson. The floor length bridal gown, fashioned of silk organza, . featured a high neck line, and fitted bodice with long fitted sleeves. The bodice and skirt were trimmed with imported Venice lace. The matching horsehair picture hat also trimmed in Venice lace attached to a floor length mantilla of gentle silk illusion. The bride carried an all white bouquet of stephenolas and baby breath. The candle-ligh- t ceremony began with the bride being given in marriage by her father, James Whitaker. While Miss Laurene Tingey attended the bride as maid of honor, best man duties were performed by Lynn Erickson, brother of the groom. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Robert Whitaker and Mrs. Dennis Whitaker. The floor length gowns worn by the bridal attendants were fashioned of lavender nylon dotted swiss over lavender sheer voil, The princess-style- d gowns 'were accented by white voil collars and accessorized by matching lavender summer-brimme- d hats circled with a chain of Fielding senior citizen celebrates his birthday P. Herman Fieldings Lott, senior one of citizens celebrated his 83rd birthday anniversary Friday Aug. 10. He spent the day quietly at home with members of his immediate family and a few close friends. He was born in 1890 in Elsinore, Sevier County a son of Peter and Isabell Farnsworth Lott. He spent his boyhood in Joseph where he was reared and educated. He attended the Utah State Agricultural College in in Logan majoring Agriculture and Blacksmithing. On Aug. 1, 1910 he claimed Fernie Moore as his bride in rites performed in Joseph. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. She died in April 1932. He and his family moved to Fielding in 1932 where he established a permanent home. On Feb. 5, 1936 he married Nettie Godfrey in the Salt Lake Temple. He is a retired farmer and dairyman. Active in chruch affairs he served as a counselor in the Joseph Ward Bishopric. He was a member of the building committee when the Joseph Ward Chapel was built. He was a member of the High Council in the Sevier Stake. In Fielding he taught the adult calss in the MIA and was a home teacher. He holds the office of a High Priest in the Fielding Ward. He is the father of nine son and nine daughters, three sons and eight daughters are living. He is an honor veteran of the Vietnam War, and is currently employed on the guidance staff at Fort Wingate High school, Fort Wingate, N.M. Mr. Nish owned and operated one of the first thrashing machines in the Bear River Valley. He was a charter member of the Plymouth Old Brass Band. He served as Bishop in the Plymouth Ward for eight years and as a counselor for several years. He was also active in other church organizations. He is presently a High Priest in the Logan 6th LDS Ward. Mrs. Nish served as president of the YWMIA for seven years and was active in other ward auxiliaries.
