Braegger, retiring president, installed the officers and presented new president Deon Ferry with a trophy won by the chapter at the state convention as the most outstanding chapter in the state of Utah, out of 22 local chapters throughout the state. Clark Reeder, senior, was named best actor. He has played leads in plays for three years. Virginia Redford was named best supporting actress for her role in Cat and the Canary. John Osbourne was named best supporting actor for his role in the same play. Most promising actress award was given to Janet Glauser for her roles in Our Town and Fiddler on the Roof, and most promising actor was David Phippen who has participated in many plays.
