To top the presentation off, each child went to the microphone and told his mothr how much he loved her, and then gave her a gift he had made. These gifts were pictures on wood made of salt, flour, and water, and then baked and painted. The costumes were construction paper hats and paper cups that the room mothers had helped make. The scenery for the playlettes was painted on boxes. Everyone participated in the instead. Mrs. Ricks said that her daughter is fine now, but it is something she wont forget. Motor to Idaho Mr. and Mrs. Pack Hatch motored to Lava Hot Springs, Idaho Friday, spending Friday and Saturday visiting friends. Sunday they motored to Chesterfield, Idaho where they attended church, and enjoyed the service and the special Mothers Day program. All mothers were presented with a lovely potted plant. After services they visited relations and old friends which was most enjoyable. Also they visited the museum which used to be the old church house. Pack was born in Chesterfield and they expecially enjoyed seeing the old places and scenery. Some of the buildings are still there, including his old home and school house. The people involved have truely made it not only and interesting, but fun event that we will look forward to again next year. Both Corinne first and second attended ward the stake Aaronic priesthood outing held at Crystal Springs in commemoration of the restoration of the Aaronic priesthood. The priests woke up Saturday to a marvelous breakfast furnished by the bishopric. Then they rooler skated, swam, and played miniture gold. The stake Chesterfield ward united, building one lovely church called Chesterfield LDS ward. Later they motored to Soda Springs where they enjoyed a picnic with friends at Hooper Springs. They returned home late Sunday evening. then furnished a delicious supper. Thsi months meeting of the DUP was a small intimate affair at Marge Burt's with seven attending. A history was given by Miriam Thompson about her Spring Festivals Marching Into Spring, the last in the series of spring festivals, was put on by the first, second, and third grades. The junior Sunday school sang special songs and then young people from the ward gave talks about their very special mothers. The Corinne first ward has announced a new Sunday school Pat presidency. Russel Rader (former president) has been called on a mission, so Joseph Arthur Danielson will take his place. George Walker and Robert Gilbert will retire from the counciling postions with Joyce Wankier and Clayton Morrill taking their places. Also Bulla Wells was appointed as a new primary teacher and Darrell Walker was appointed as an assistant Explorer leader. Bulla Wells the new PTA president Sandra Ness, Mr. and Mrs. Dee Hardy, Principal Johnson, Mrs. Santas Pommia, Dyan Welch, and Peter Sing, council president, were among those attending the PTA convention in Ogden last Thursday.
