Austin Johnson was in charge of the program at the Senior Citizen center in Brigham Monday. Numbers from here consisted of a duet by Vernon two and Austin Johnson, readings, one a history of her mother given by Florence Gardner, several numbers on the harmonica by Austin and Wanda Johnson played the piano for the community singing. Wedding Shower Iris Hawkes and Janet Adams Tremonton gave a wedding shower for Ronda Hawkes Silva on of Tup-perwa- Saturday. Family members attending were Mrs. Carter Iverson. Mrs. LaMarr Iverson, and Mrs. Boyd Hawkes and Merrilee daughters Danielle. The bride received enough money from the guests to enable her to purchase many lovely and useful items. Light refreshments were served to 24 friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Redd of Ogden visited Mrs. Redd's mother Mrs. Gertrude Jensen ..one day last week. Miss Irene Billings of Orem and Mr. Douglas Tullis of Salt Lake called on Mr. and Mrs. L.W. Iverson Monday. Barbara Hawkes of Salt Lake was here Tuesday and Wednesday to help her mother Senneth celebrate her birthday. The Robert Silva's of Brigham and the Steven Hawkess of Tremonton stopped by too. that day Other were two former neighbors of Mrs. Hawkes from Howell, Mrs. Earl Wood and Mrs. Paul Fonnesback. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Keith Clayson of Richmond came for Lulu and she and Mrs. Keith Clayson will spend several days at Ricks College with Debbie Clayson during the Mother's and Daughter's week. Mary Anderson had a quilt on last week and Deo Johnson, Lurleen Anderson and LaVon Dallin dropped in to help her. Wayne and Reva Merrill spent Saturday night with Mary well-wishe- Anderson. Early Sunday morning they left for Provo to visit their daughter Mary Ann, a student at the BYU. Back at Honeyvllle Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Jensen have moved back to Honeyville when their recent move to Richmond was terminated because their dairy barn burned down due to faulty wiring. Mr. and Mrs. Perry Goodliffe American Fork spent the forenoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Lewis. The ladies are sisters. The Goodliffes were in Brigham to attend the funeral of Mrs. Amanda Jensen, a former native of Bear River. The former Rochalene Duke, now Mrs. Wayne Jensen, along with her husband and daughter Heidi of Layton visited her Mrs. Ida grandmother Christensen on Thursday. of Attend Funeral The Lynn Holmgrens along with the Paul Holmgrens were in Salt Lake April 2 to attend the funeral of Lawrence H. Erma Rock and Bertha Wankier along with their sister Alta Moore of Ogden refused to admit that spring isnt here so they went fishing last week. The small daughter of the Robert Wilsons was given the name Carmen in the services Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Quentin Wilson of Brigham, Mrs. Ella Gilbert and Mr. and Mrs. Ron Rathbone and baby of Corinne, Ford and Merrilee Wilson and two children of Layton and Mrs. Jetta Isaacson of Malad were present fr the special event. Mrs. Marjie Doughten of Ogden and DeAnn Graves a student of BYU visited Mrs. Lavon Dallin and the Doyle Archibalds Sunday. Clyde and Darlene Nelson and children of Roy were visiting the Oleen Nelsons Saturday. Danny and Rosalee Thain of Benson were visiting the Vay Jensen family Sunday. A DUP Meeting The DUP county camp held their monthly singing practice at the home of Carrie J. Christensen Monday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. B.E. Gooch of Burley, Idaho spent the weekend with their daughter and her family Mrs. Clair Anderson. On Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Anderson accompanied them to Salt Lake to visit their son Glen Gooch and his family. Mrs. Carrie J. Christensen was a dinner guest Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Max Weiss of Tremonton. Nola Nessler and Carrie J. were Ogden Christensen visitors Saturday. Dee Duncan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Duncan has returned from his church mission in Mexico. Visiting with Wilda Nicholas Sunday were David and Linda Nicholas and two daughters of Willard and Mr. and Mrs. Loren O. Kay of Roy. Reports stolen bike Mrs. Donald Saunders, 445 North Sixth East, told police someone stole her son's bicycle while it was parked at Foothill Elementary school Monday. Brent Songer, 23, were hurt when the four-whedrive pickup careened 310 feet off five mile9 north of the Corinne interchange. Brigham City police investigated three accidents on Saturday, according to reports. At 4:30 a.m. an eastbound sedan on Fifth North collided with a parked pickup truck 150 feet west of Second East and caused about $440 worth of damage. 5, Patrolman Scott Thorsted said the 1972 sedan, driven by Pat Silva, Jr., 470 North Sixth East, collided with the 1953 pickup, owned by Clair and Sherlene Mordue, 126 East Fifth North. He said apparently Silva reached for a bag of groceries which slipped off the seat of his vehicle and the car struck the pickup. Damage to the sedan was $350 and loss to the truck was $90, Officer Thorsted said.
