Spending a few days at the home of Adolph and Mabel Rasmussen were her sister and Howard and Iva Range of San Jose, Calif. The couples visited and enjoyed a dinner at the Red Baron cafe in Brigham City. brother-in-la- Canyon Ride trip through Sardine canyon was greatly enjoyed by the visitors. The leaves in their brilliant colors was a sight no one that sees, ever forgets. Dinner at the Rasmussen home was an occasion for the group during their stay. Other visitors at the Rasmussen home that week were another sister and brother-in-law- , Fred and Ethyl Wheeler of Park Forrest, 111. They spent a day with them before traveling to southern Utah to visit with relatives. Marvella Harding of Othello, Wash, was a visitor at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nello Morgan, recently. She was accompanied here by two of her married children, Morgan Harding and Delinda Roth of Idaho Falls, Idaho and a son Evan. Harding attended a school for Sears representatives in Salt Lake City during their stay in A Utah. Return Together He stayed at the Ramada Inn and was joined there by his wife Jennie, at the end of the sessions. They returned home together. The group returned home after a three day stay. Baptized during the week and at sacrament meeting in the Corinne LDS ward on Fast Sunday was Bruce Bucklee Dennar. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce LeRoy Dennar. He was baptized and confirmed by his father. Pat Hammerland enjoyed a brief vacation trip to Nev. recently. She accompanied a nephew, Jimmy : Wise of Ogden. , They went to spend two days at the home of a sister-in-laand aunt Mrs. B.S. Ramon. They traveled by car to spend a relaxing time enjoying the beautiful fall weather. 4 Clayton Morrill was host to th3 members of the Corinne Lions club and their wives at his home on a Saturday evening recently. The couples spent the evening visiting indoors. The party had been planned for out of doors but cool weather changed their plans. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Rader returned last week from a delightful trip to Concord, Calif. The Bill Raders arrived here on Thursday to attend LDS conference sessions in Salt Lake City during their four day stay. A family dinner at the Rader home was enjoyed by Mr. and Mrs. Max (Donna) Ward and children of Riverside and Mrs. Leone Higgins and family. Fruitvale Daughters of Utah Pioneers will travel to East Layton on Monday, Oct. 16. Members will meet at the home of captain Elma Carter at 12:30 p.m. Opening exercises will be held before leaving for an afternoon of activities planned by officers of the camp. Luncheon at Maddox cafe in Perry is on the agenda before traveling to the home of a sister of Olive Fillmore, Georgia Allen in Layton, whose address is 1966 Oak Hill Circle. Mr. and Mrs. Allen have a large collection of pioneer antiques that should prove interesting to members who wish to attend. Corinne camp Daughters of Utah Pioneers held a meeting at the home of Miriam Thompson Wednesday, Oct. 4, at 7:30 p.m. The lesson "Sunday schools" was given by Marg Burt. Janie Jensen gave a history of her great grandfather, iJohn Peck Chidlster. There were six members and three guests who spent the evening of refreshments and visiting after the meeting. In the morning all school age children will have the opportunity to have them taken. The pictures this year are The child must have the $3 to have it taken. A packet will then be made up and sent to pre-pai- the child. The packet will consist of one, five by seven, two, three by fives and 10 wallet size pictures.
