In charge of the rodeo grounds is Odean Estep, chairman for tickets is Arnold Lamb, in charge of livestock is Glenda Griffen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gwen Griffen of Preston, Idaho, will reign as queen during the annual Plymouth Rodeo Days July Karen Allred, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Allred of Bountiful and Susan Hatch of Smith-fielwill be her attendants. The trio was chosen from seven contestants who were judged on horsemanship, appearance and personality. Also reigning will be Marsha Rudd, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Rudd of Fielding as the Little Princess and Keith Lamb, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Lamb of Plymouth as the Little Prince. Runner-up- s were Patty Rudd, sister of Marsha and Shawn Burgess son of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Burgess of Plymouth. Doug Roche. Vernon Lamb and Lanette Udy are in charge of the food stands. The first performance of the amateur rodeo sponsored by the Plymouth Rodeo club will be at 8:30 p.m. July 3, under lights at the Plymouth rodeo arena. d Local cowboys will participate in events which include calf roping, team roping, bull riding, bareback riding, hide race, kids calf roping, barrell racing and goat tying. A dance for cowboys and cowgirls will be held following the rodeo at the School square. In conjunction with the rodeo, Fun day will be held July 4. A flag raising ceremony will start the days events at 7:30 a.m. with scouts of the Belmont LDS ward participating at the churchgrounds. A pancake breakfast will be available from 8 to 9:30 p.m. under the direction of Joyce Cornwall, Primary president. Delma Smith and children, Becky Tracie and Alan were here from Ogden to spend a week at their summer home. Alan brought two of his friends, Doug Decaria and Don Reeder for a visit. Dick Barnes of Stanrod has been busy in the community the last couple of weeks using his heavy equipment for various jobs. Ed and Pearl Harris have their house set up by the store and are all moved in. Attend Meeting Robert Sogers brought his wife and children with him from Oakley last week to sacrament meeting here. Many people from Grouse Creek attended funeral services Tuesday in Malta for Mrs. Jessie Paskett. Those attending reported that the funeral was nice and a very large crowd in attendance. Hughie and Fred Thompson were in Tremonton Wednesday on business for the county road, Brian Thompson went along for a trip to the dentist. Arthur Brothers was a dinner guest Tuesday of Loren Choate and the Thompsons as he celebrated his 15th birthday anniversary. Barbara Blanthorn and Mrs. Emma Blanthorn attended the viewing in Burley Monday evening for Mrs. Jessie Paskett. Lee and Sid Davis of Brigham came out Tuesday and Wednesday to visit Naomi and Grant Kimber and family. This was their first trip to Grouse Creek Judy Rae Barnedt and new baby son came home Tuesday from the hospital in Brigham. Little Dean Barnedt was happy to have his mother home and also thrilled with a little brother. The name chosen for the new baby is Scott Raymond. John and Flora Gross spent a couple of days in Salt Lake an ?' BLM business. Business Trip Opal and Oren Kimber also made a business trip to Salt Lake this week and visited their families along the way. Jessie Eller of the extension service brought Mrs. Theda Johnson and Mrs. Flora Bardell of USU to Grouse Creek on Thursday and Friday. The ladies gave demonstrations on the care and use of sewing machines. In the evening Mrs. Bardell demonstrated the use of oven and cooked a micro-wav- e a tasty luncheon for the ladies attending. The visitors brought their camper and stayed at the church. Loraine Tanner is going back to Ogden to bring her grandparents, Dell and Ella Tanner, home. Dell is supposed to get out of the hospital on Wednesday and can come home Thursday if all goes well. Irma Warburton and children were in Shoshone Saturday to attend the wedding reception for Mr. and Mrs. Burt Rasmussen. She stayed over Sunday in Jerome and visited with her brother and sister-in-laVern and Betty Adams and families. Celebrate Anniversary Marge and Hughie Thompson celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary on Friday. They drove to Ogden and had dinner with their daughters, LaNette, LeAnn and Bambi Thompson and Karma Smith. Bambi has spent a couple of weeks with Eilene Torrey and family and Carla Clark in Brigham, her sisters in Ogden, and with Merle White and family in Orem. Bishop and Mrs. Merlin Tanner and family attended funeral services Tuesday for "Aunt Jessie then spent the day visiting with Blaine Tanner, Doug and Kathleen Tanner and family and the Jim Carter family. Mrs. Marge Thompson and family and Mrs. Vera Tanner called on Audrey and Vernon Language Mudie Missing Milk Colleen Limb were the speakers and Ray sang two solos. Cathy Limb and her friend, Terrie Parkinson, also sang two duets. The program was very outstanding.. week. Our community was happy to have Don and Catherine Limb drive out from Garland with some of their family to present sacrament meeting program.
