The Box Elder county school board has scheduled a meeting and visit on site at the Park Valley school after the PTA members concluded that several major items for proper education were missing in their school. Carolyn Morgan, newly elected PTA president says, that it would be nice to have a new school at Park Valley but, at this present time, we are only asking the school board for their help in considering our immediate and much needed items such as an additional certified teacher to help the heavy load and responsibilities of the present two teachers. The grades are from kindergarten and including the tenth grade. Seaman Ends Honor Roll Announced Training at Recruit Center Navy Seaman Douglass L. Schaffner, son of Mr. Ervin L. R. That many study periods were held in the rest rooms because no other place could be obtained, (all four of the other rooms were being used). The PTA recommended that another extra large room be built onto the school building providing another room for a third certified teacher to teach and to help with the load. Also this room could be divided to make a study hall and library. The Park Valley PTA summed up all their requests and asked that the school board pleas consider and help them on 19 Thursday, April 27, 1972 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Open Friday Nights Till 8 p.m. |
