ESTIMATED COST The total estimated cost of all improvements is $369,817.00 of which the Citys portion is $107,727.60 and the remainder in the amount of $262,089.40 is ' to be paid by ;ass events to be levied on all blocks, 'loti.' parts of blocks, and lots, tracts or parcels of property bounding, abutting upon, or adjacent to the improvements or which may be affected or specially benefited to the extent of the benefits to by the improvements such property by reason of the improvements. If so requested and installed, the cost will be assessed against the property benefited, in addition to the assessment for other improvements. Drivewide drives ways are estimated to cost $85.00 for and $125.00 for wide drives. Any flat work necessary to extend the driveway from the standard length to the property line will cost $.80 per square foot. There shall be an allowance for corner lots to be apportioned as defined and provided for in the ordinance of Brigham City, Utah, and the laws of the State of Utah. The whole or any part of the assessments may be paid without interest within 15 days after the ordinance lesying the assessment becomes effective. If the assessment is paid in part, the unpaid balance shall be payable in substantially equal installments over the period of time installments are payable with interest on the unpaid balance at a rate or rates not to exceed 10 per cent per annum as provided in the assessment ordinance. A map of the proposed District and a copy of the resolution above referred to are on file in tne Office of the City Recorder, and all persons interested are hereby referred to the same for further information in regard to said improvement and said Special Improvement District. TIME FOR FILING PROTESTS Anv person who is the owner of property to be assessed in the Special Improvement District described in the Notice of Intention shall have the right to file in writing a protest to the creation of the Special Improvement District or to make any other objections relating thereto. Protests shall describe or otherwise identify the property owned by the person or persons making the protest. Protests shall be filed with the City Recorder of Brigham City, Utah, on or before 5:00 o'clock p.m. on May 8, 1969. Thereafter, at 7:00 oclock p.m. on May 8, 1969, the City Council will meet at the regular meeting place of the Council to consider all protests so filed and hear all objections relating to the Special Improvement District.
