They drove first to Lower Lake where they stayed at the home of Milos Mr. son and daughter-in-law- . and Mrs. Byron Hedln and child, ren. They spent several days there before traveling to San Mateo where a daughter and Fred and Pauline Llnch make their home. They have six children, David, Steve, Kathy, Maralyn, Jerry and Diane. The Utah visitors had a most enjoyable time getting with cousins, On aunts and grandchildren. the return trip they had the mis. fortune to have car trouble and were unable to continue to their Rowe destination. Margaret left by and Karen Duresch auto to meet the travelers In Wells, Nev. They also met with misfortune In hitting a deer near Snowvllle, Utah. They were not Injured, but the front of the Duresch car received extensive damage and had to be towed to Snowvllle to be repaired before they were able to proceed. The travelers returned to Utah without further Incident and were relieved to be home without any Injuries. Last Sunday visitors at the Milo Hedln home were his and daughter Rodney and Nancy Lund and children Dennis, Gary, Clark and Judy Lynn of Ogden. Milo and Rodney left Sunday noon for Wells, Nev., to tow the Hedln auto back. They returned home the same night. MARY JO SHIPLEY left by bus last Sunday to Join her husband, Allen who Is stationed In Fort Bennlng, Ga. He Is a finance clerk In the United States army, and will be stationed there for an Indefinite time. Bert and Doris Shipley "closed shop" last Saturday and motored to Flaming Gorge. They towed their boat and en. Joyed fishing and boating on the reservoir for a delightful two day vacation. 'July'Ttavellng In two memorabWtrhMe- nla in cars driven by Dave Smoot and Delwynn Mills, the group traveled to see Disney Land, Knotts Berry Farm, Marine Land, and the wax museum. They spent a day on the beach and were delighted with the sand and water. They attended the Latter-daSaints church In the Anaheim ward on Sunday. They began the return trip on Monday, arriving In Las Vegas, Nev. on Tuesday. They spent a day there before returning home. Those who went on the tour which took seven days were Dewynn Mills and Dave Smoot, Hal and Clyde Nelson Kenneth and Steven Harper, Robert Anderson, Dean Wood, and f WU-11a- Fillmore. Faye Adams and sons Charles and Chris of Portland Ore. have returned home after spend, lng two weeks here with Fays parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Amanda) Fredrickson. Amanda had spent two weeks with her and daughter and family and returned to her home here with Fay and sons. Mrs. Doris Gerhardt and children, Ronda, Kevin, Fay and Iva Lee left with the Adamses to spend an extended vacation with them at their home In Portland. Dinner guests at the home of the Charles Fredricksons last Sunday were their sister brother-in-law- , Mr. and and Mrs. Ivan Hatch of Ogden. THE PRIMARY organizations wards held their Llhoma holiday the latter part of July, Corlnne Second ward held their "holiday on Wednesday afternoon, July 19 In the ward recreation hall. The theme was "The Queen and I", with decorations depicting the theme. Counselor Donna Hubbard was In charge of the arrangements. of both board was also a guest. The theme "The Queen and I" was carried out. THE PRIMARY graduation ceremony was held In the Corlnne Second ward In last Sun-da- ing. y evenings sacrampnt meetThe Llhoma partner, Donna Hubbard was In charge. The girls sang their graduation song and talks were given by the following girls who have now graduated Into Mutual; Eva Jean Julie Harper, Rasmussen, Tresa Hansen, N'edra Marble, Jane Ferry, and Cheryl Davis. The Corlnne ward Primary held their graduation ceremony In sacrament meeting last Sunday afternoon. Edna Smoot, the Llhoma partner, was In charge. The girls who graduated gave talks and sang their graduation song. They were Debra Gilbert, Debra Hatch, Ann Stewart, Jolene Rader, Maralyn Mills, Kathy Kirk, and Becky Rowe. Delores Harper was the leader who went with the girls. Debra Singh, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Singh returned recently from a delightful vaca. tlon trip with her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Wolf of Murray. They spent two weeks touring Canada and the Northern states and points of Inter-est- . She returned In time to her parents and accompany brothers and sister, John, Jeff and Becky on a trip to Hebgen Dam In Montana, They stayed at the home of an aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Andy Mllna, who have a summer home there. They enjoyed a visit to Campfire lodge at Quake Lake and the fishing was fabulous'' to the Singhs. They spent three days there before returning home. They also visited friends In Ely l and Ruth, where they lived years ago. Jack Forsgren, who Is In the Veterans hospital In Salt Lake, Is In critical condition and In the extensive care ward there. The family received word from the hospital last Sunday even-lnthat he had suffered a stroke. His wife Eva and a daughter Marie Trlpodd! of Brigham City are making the trip dally to visit him there.
