Show County Parties Slate Universal IlicroflltDln 141 Sals f.lass heeling Monday The door is open Monday, Feb. 19, for Box Elder county voters to get in on the ground floor of our elective process, the grass roots of the democratic system. For its the night when Both Republicans and Democrats the will hold mass meetings in voting districts tiiroughout county. There will be 28 such meetings in Brigham City alone which spreads the opportunity around to everyone. Every citizen who attends the mass meeting of his party in his district will have a voice in naming a chairman, vice chairman, district committeemen, and delegates to the county and state organizational and nominating conventions. It is at county and state sessions that candidates for major national, state and county offices emerge. Thus the person who attends next Mondays mass meetings will have more to say about who finally reaches public office than the voter who limits his choice to the ballot booth. The meetings for both parties start a 8 p.m. A listing of district meeting places can be found in todays issue of the Journal along with a map showing voting districts in Brigham City.
