Show 9 Box Oder Journal Local Man Reports Brigham City, Utah Friday, November 28, 1958 Theft of Equipment GUARD ALWAYS I TOUR ARMY NATIONAL CUARD With Conferences During the past three weeks the schools in the southern part of Box Elder county have been Parent-Teache- r holding their conferences. Schedules in each one of the schools have been set up by the school staff to permit the speech therapist to meet with as many parents as possible of the youngsters who have speech problems. These schedules have afforded the opportunity to contact seventy-eight parents in nine schools. Ferrin Allen, Speech Therapist, would like to remind the people of the Box Elder High School District that there are office hours maintained in the Speech correction office at Central school on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. to allow parents to talk to the therapist about their children who have speech defects. Also during the next few weeks an additional service is going to be experimented with for the youngsters of the south end of the county. Parents who have children who would like to have them in the therapy group should contact Mr. Allen at Central School and make an appointment so the nature of the speech defect can. be determined. The therapy group will be set up on the basis of the age of the child and the nature of the speech deviation.
