A wonderful time, was the comment from the first group of boys to return to the school. The campers fished in Canada Falls Stream and cooked what they caught over the coals of a fire they built themselves. The fish was a welcome addition to the staple items the boys had brought along. The weekend camping trip stemmed from a new 'policy initiated by Hughes when he became superintendent of the school early this year. Deserving boys now are permitted to return to their own homes on occasional weekends. The camping trips are reserved for those youth who cannot go home for one reason or another.
