Both had pink rosebud corsages. Robert Brown, brother of the bridegroom, was bet man with Mr. and Mrs. Lee Andersen assisting as ushers. All men in the wedding party, host, usher and master of cere monies, wore white carnation boutonnieres. The bridegrooms boutonniere was a pink carna tion. Host and hostess for the eve ning were Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Packer. Mrs. Garth L. Chambers was at the guest 'book. During the entire reception Miss Ruth Berntsen played organ selections. William Stoddard, as master of ceremonies, announced the accordion following program; numbers by Mrs. Maurice Reeder; vocal duet, Melody of Love and Wedding Prayer, Mr. and Mrs. DeLaun Sackett; I Love You violin selection, Truly, Mrs. Lorn a Green, sister of the bridegroom and reading by Marilyn Wood. The hall was artfully decorated with baskets of forsythia with daffodils and pussywillows adorning the serving tables. The receiving line stood before an apple blossom and ivy bedecked garden gate scene. The bride was lovely in a full length wedding gown of Chantilly lace, satin and nylon tulle. The dress was designed by the bride and her mother and made by her mother. It featured a Chantilly lace bodice over satin with long tapered .sleeves and a Peter Pan collar. The skirt was of nylon tulle over tiers of net and satin. Chantilly lace draped at each side of the skirt. A tiara of Chantilly lace encrusted with seed pearls and rhinestones held the bridal veil.
