Seemi they were pass ing np the tall green grass-f- ull of minerals and vitamins and eating the short grass, which is naturally tweeter. Red solved the problem by praying a solution of corn syrup over the grass that was going begging. The cows sure went at it. Red says its lucky for him and the cows that every one of them has a sweet tooth. Next week, according to Red, hes going to have his cows clean up all the weedy grass along his fences-aft- er he sprays them with more corn syrup, of course. From where I sit, some folks, like Red, are always trying out new tricks and others stick with the old tried and true methods. Just a question of preference, I guess. Like the way you may enjoy coffee with meals, while I prefer a cold glass of beer. So lets not allow any bad feelings to crop up by thinking ours is the only choice. During the business session which preceded the lesson, final plans were made for Founders Day to be held May 2 at the Seventh LDS ward. It was also announced that the Mothers Day teach will be held May 7 dn the Eighth LDS ward. Mrs. Deann Ebeling, chairman of the ways and means committee, announces that a bazaar and food sale will be conducted May 7. Complete plans will be announced shortly. (Tommy) Rasmussen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Scothern. The young couple Is making plans for an LDS temple ceremony sometime in August. Miss Barker is an LDS seminary and Box Elder High school graduate. Active in school activities at BEHS, she was popular in .music circles.
