Winner of this contest will address the Young Farmers and Farmerettes Friday banquet, evening. Jensen local contractor, has been appointed a director of the Box Elder County Bank, it was announced on Thursday toy Reese Davis, cashier, following a meeting of the board. Jensen will fill an existing vacancy on the board of directors of the bank. Wajne was born In Brigham City and followed his father in the contracting business, living here all of his We. During the past nine years he has been serving the community as a contractor during which time he has done several million dollars worth of construction. During the past yea j, Jensen did $600,000 worth of building in this community. Some of the larger jobs included remodeling of the courthouse and post office buildings, storage tanks at the Big J Mill, and the renovation of the Box Elder County Bank building. In the past three years he has constructed four LDS ward chapels, in the Eighth, Sixith, Second and Mantua wards. At one time last summer, while the Big J Mill tanks were being built, he employed around 70 men on the various jobs. All during the summer building season, he averaged around 30 employees. He has built hundreds of homes here, including quite a few of the most costly ones. Mr. and Mrs have Jensen three children, Mrs. Luane Keller, Orville Ray Jensen who is employed by his father, and Paula Jensen, a first grade pupil at Central School'.
