Another lovely shower was held at the home of Mrs. Hattie Hunsaker, grandmother of Mr. Tolman. Friday afternoon. They will make their home in Honeyvilie. The now Mrs. Tolman is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Guy T. Whitaker of Brigham City and 'Mr. Tolman is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Tolman of Honeyvilie. Mrs. Otto Hill spent last week in Pocatello, Idaho, visiting with her and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Beck and grandchildren. Word has been received by Mr. and Mrs. (Bin Tolman that their son, Pvt. LeRoy Tolman, who is now in Korea, is with the Third infantry division. A number of relatives and friends from Honeyvilie attended the wedding reception for Mr. and Mrs. Reed Boothe in the LDS Institute at Logan, Thursday evening. They were married the same day in the Logan LDS temple. A'binadi Tolman is home from the LDS hospital in Salt Lake City where he has been for the By Mrs. i!e 1 ,i past two weeks for an opera- tion. He is feeling much bet-- I ter and will soon be as good as ev er. , The Honeyvilie Primary offiand teachers entertained several of the classes Friday evening, January 22. The annual h iliday snow frolic held for the Homebuilders and and their parents, with 90 attending. They were honored toy the following stake hoard officers: cers Trail-builder- Blanche Barker, Louis Squires, Alia Cianer and Lula Campbell and their partners; the bishopric and their wives, and the husbands of the Primary presidency. The opening prayer was offered by Ken Spadkman and the closing prayer by Conrad Johnson. There was a short program with songs by Barbara and Norman Macro and Patsy Petersen. Games were played, refreshments served and the remainder of the evening was spent in dancing. Dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Wintle on Sunday were, fheir l son and daughter-in-law- , Mr. and Mrs. DeVcre Wintle and son, William and twin daughters, Rose Mary and Rose Marie. . February 7, it was learned this week, the first Eagle scouts in the history of the Honeyvilie ward. They are William E. Hunsaker and his son. Teryl W. Hunsaker, and Douglas R. Tolman. Bill has been active in scouting for 15 years, has served as assistant scoutmaster, patrol leader, senior patrol leader and and ward MIA superintendent institutional representative for the Golden Spike district. At present he is serving as advancement chairman of North Box Elder stake. Bill has earned 33 merit baizes. His son, Teryl, is eligible for the bronze award in the explorer program with a 100 percent attendance record for five years to all church meetings. He is the guide patrol scoutmaster and president of the teacher's quorum. He participated in the 1953 Carson hike and is a post crew leader. Teryl has 36 merit badges. Douglas also has a 100 percent atiendancp record for the past five years which includes priesthood and sacrament meetings. He attended the 1950 Valley Forge national jamboree.
