The house was decorated throughout carrying out the Halloween theme. Following the pinochle games prizes were awarded to Mrs Barbara Rowe, high; Mrs. Rae Burt, cut; Mrs. Marjorie Lish, low and Mrs. Mauneen Pimper for the best costume. 'Prior to serving refreshments a large paper sack was around to each member passed present. Each chose a kitchen utensil from the sack. Another sack containing pots and pans was then passed around.
