From now until Christmas the staff at the home hopes that local residents will open their hearts and pocketbooks to provide inexpensive new gifts so hand mirrors, magnifying glasses, gloves for both men and ladies, washable slippers with non-sk- i soles, soft and bulky mens crew stretch sox, nylon or cotton stretch stock ings for women, and lap robes. Both individuals and clubs are invited to make this a special Christmas project to provide gifts for distribution at the home. Items should not be unless a note of their contents is made on the package so that it goes to the right person. However, paper and ribbons are welcome additions to the gift collection. Gifts may be left at the nursing home up until Christmas.
