Show Saturday at range BOX ELDER NEWS, City, Utah Brigham Sunday, September 12, 1976 I Lions plan turkey shoot The Brigham City Lions club announced plans this week to stage its annual turkey shoot Sept. 18, issuing an invitation for all local sportsmen and others to participate. The traditional fall event will be conducted at the clubs trap shooting range, west of Brigham City on the old dump site. It will continue from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. with a host of prizes being offered plus dozens of turkeys to supporters. Club members are currently selling tickets on these prizes: a rifle, camp heater, hand mixer, radio, camping jug, sleeping bag, binoculars, two snow tires and a $10 bill. Winners of these prizes need not be present to claim them. In addition, there will be drawings at 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 p.m. for turkeys. And for these, winners must be present, R. Douglas Parsons said. The event will offer trap shooting and splatter board competition for shooters with turkeys as prizes. Ammunition will be sold. There will also be food con- cessions and games for the ladies and kids, the chairman explained. Barker is married to the former Debra Ringle of Logan. They have one daughter. He is currently a seminary teacher for the L.D.S, church and the family is residing in Bountiful. Lamont J. Wells, son of Lillie R. Wells, Mantua, and a resident of Tremonton, has completed requirements for a master of educaton degree in secondary education. He received a bachelor of science degree in English from USU in 1961. Wells is married to the former Ingeborg R. Waechtler, a native of Germany. They have eight children.
