Western horsemanship shows the horsemanship ability of members because it is not the horse thats being judged, its the rider. The show was judged by LaRee Lucus and Judy De LaGrange, and we thank them very much. Another surprise to many, the Bear River Broncos presented their very first club flag! Now, where ever we go everyone will know who we are! The flag was, made by Susan Grimmett, and she. thanks her sister, Sylvia, and her grandmother, Mrs. Paskett, very, very much for all their help, because, without it,' the flag would never have been finished. Holman, Brigham City, is a graduate of Box Elder High school and has been attending the University of Utah, where he plans to continue his education this fall. He has filled an LDS mission to Brazil. Announcement ' of the couple's plans is made by the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvern W, Davis of Bear River City. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Meese of Tub son, Ariz. A reception will be held In their honor at the home of the bride's parents In Bear River City that same evening from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. Miss Davis Is a 968 graduate of Box Elder High school, and of Weber State College in nursing In 1970. She Is presently employed at Utah Valley Hospital In Provo. The prospective bridegroom Is a 1968 graduate of Rincon High school In Tuscon, Ariz. He served an LDS mission in Uraguay, and graduated from Brigham Young University In 974 with a degree In Spanish.
