DUP News Local man claims bride t, Aida Marie Arsenault of Maine, has been claimed as the bride of Tom Burridge, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Burridge. The wedding took place April 17 in the Brunswick LDS Ward in Brunswick, Maine. The double ring ceremony was performed by Branch President Bruce Marston. Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Bruce, the brides parents, hosted a reception later in the day at their home in Wiscasset. Attendants to the bride and groom were Miss Bonnie Goodrich, maid of honor, and Jim Bessette who performed the duties of best man. An open house will be given by parents of the groom on Friday, April 30, in the Seventh LDS Ward from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. The new Mrs. Burridge is a graduate of Wiscasset High school where she was a cheerleader for the Redskins. Prior to her marriage she was employed at Casco Bank and Trust in Brunswick, Maine. A lifelong resident of Brigham City, Radioseaman Burridge has served for three years on the minesweeper USS Inflict where he has seen duty in San Diego, Guam, Japan, Korea, Hawaii, the Panama Canal, Cuba, Jamaica, the Bahamas, South Carolina and Maine. After a wedding trip to Old Orchard Beach, Maine, the couple returned to Utah. They are presently residing in Ogden were he plans to continue his studies in electronics at Weber State college. Kathleen Bradford, scriptwriter and narrator, adds that the program will be one aimed to be fun and informative for all ages.
