Students Arrive Indian students from Arizona arrived in Bothwell Saturday to spend the coming school year with foster parents. Leg 1.49 fJJX Four students from the Intermountain Indian school, in Brigham City, have chosen to enter the U.S. Army, it was announced this week by SFC local army Joe Lessard recruiter for Box Elder County. Pvt. David Nez chose for his enlistment option the Combat Arm field, and received a $2,500 cash bonus. Pvt. Nez is presently attending Basic Training at Ft. Polk, La. Pvt Nez also chose as his duty station Fort Carson, Colo. Pvt Arnold Hicks elected to enlist for the combat arms, and received a bonus of $2,500 cash. Sixty persons participated in the outdoor party. The Golden Spikers will be ready for a swim and turn on Saturday, Sept. 7 when they host a free square dance at Peach Days. The dance will be open to the public, with guest callers, dancers in costumes and watermelon to enjoy while resting tired feet. Roy and Lucille Westley are the directors and they invite everyone to come and join the fun whether dancer or spectator. The Silver Sands Cruise will be rescheduled within the next few days and all those who have paid their fare will be called about the definite rescheduling date. Jackson Begay the last of the four men to enlist from the school, elected to enlist for the combat arms field, and also received a bonus of $2,500 cash.
