Gunnell, 85, former resident of Howell, died Oct. 29 of natural causes in Mesa, Ariz. She was born Jan. 5, 1888, in Brigham City to Jonathan Cutler and Rebecca Nelson. She was married to Charles B. Gunnell on April 1, 1908, in the Logan LDS temple. He died in January 1943. She had served in ward and stake Primary, Sunday school and Relief society positions in Bear River City and was a temple worker and guide at the Mesa temple. Survivors include sons and daughters, Wayne C. Gunnell, Ogden; Mrs. Lisle J. (Lola) Adams, Burbank, Calif.; Don C. Santa Ana, Calif.; Gunnell, Darwin J. Gunnell, Harold B. Gunnell, Karl A. Gunnell and Mrs. Raymond (Ruth) Strong, all Mesa; Grant Gunnell, Lafayette, Calif.; 34 grand41 children; great- brothers, grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Juanita Allen San Diego, Calif.; Newell C. Nelson, Syracuse, Nelson, Utah; DeLamar California, and Lowell Nelson, North Ogden. Funeral services were held Thursday in Mesa Tenth Ward chapel. Chugg, Amanda Irvin Jones Irvin Jones Irvin Jones, 89, of Tremonton, died Nov. in Pioneer Memorial home, Brigham City, of natural 1 causes. He was born Feb. 6, 1884 in Provo, a son of John D. and Susannah Boren Jones. On Aug. 4, 1903 he married Nellie Barrett in Provo. She died Dec. 28, 1957. He lived in Provo and Salt Lake City before moving to Tremonton in 1925 where he owned and operated a farm and was employed as an electrical engineer for Utah Power and 120 in Cooley Memorial hospital Thursday after a long illness. He was born Aug. 13, 1914, in Aurora, Neb., the son of Frank G. and Laura Mae Smith Cochran. He married DeLoris Reeve, Jan. 8, 1944, in Brigham City. was reared in Cochran Nebraska served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He received the Purple Heart after being wounded in action during the Guadal canal campaign. He had been employed at Hill Air Force base and retired in September of 1969 after 24 years service. Survivors included his widow, one son and two daughters, Mitchell L. Cochran and Mrs. Light company for 40 years. He was the Utah state seed inspector in Box Elder county for 10 years. He had served as a dance director in Provo. He was a high priest and served as a home teacher in the LDS church. Survivors include three sons and two daughters: Darrell K. Jones, Vaughn L. Jones, Murray I. Jones and Mrs. Paul (Billie) Clowes of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Gam (Melba) Capener of Garland; six grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. in the Rogers Mortuary chapel, Tremonton, where friends may call Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to service. (Kathleen) Hartwick, Logan; five grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Lloyd Cochran, Mountain Home, Idaho; Howard Cochran, Nebraska; Mrs. Merle (Georgia) Barnes, Whittier, Calif.; Mrs. Maurice (Vivian) Keel, Luak, Wyo.; Mrs. Eugene (Winnifred) Wilcox, Harlan, Iowa, and Mrs. James (Orpha) Bruffy, Jasper, Ga. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 12 noon in the LDS ward chapel. Elmer Kimber, 91, Grouse Creek, died Friday night at the Cassia County hospital in Burley, Idaho after a short illness. He was born Nov. 10, 1881 in Grouse Creek, a son of Charles and Sarah Morgan Kimber. He Annie married Ballingham, Dec. 15, 1911, in the Salt Lake LDS temple. He was a rancher in Grouse Creek until his retirement. Kimber was an active member of the LDS church, serving as bishop for 10 years, bishops counselor for 15 years, and was a high counselman in the Cassia LDS stake for many years. He had served in all auxiliaries of the church and a Southern States mission from 1902 to 1905.
