Show 8 BOX ELDER NEWS, Brigham Sunday, April 30, 1972 City, Utah Obituaries j ELECTION NOTICE Madaliene Eastman TO ALL QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF PERRY CITY, BOX ELDER COUNTY, UTAH: Take notice that on the 23rd day of May, 1972, an election will be held in Perry City, Box Elder County, Utah, at the place set out below for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors of said City the following proposition: Funeral automobile Shall the City Council of Perry City, Box Elder County, Utah, be authorized to issue the Sewer Revenue Bonds of said City in the amount of not to exceed Two Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($220,000.00), said bonds to be payable both as to principal and interest solely from the net revenues to be derived from the operation of the City's sewer system to be acquired and constructed, to bear interest at a rate or rates not to exceed five percent (5 percent) per annum, and to be due and payable in not to exceed Forty (40) years from the date of said bonds; these bonds to be issued and sold for the purpose of defraying part of the cost of acquiring and constructing a sewer system for said City? Said election will be held at the following polling places and the persons indicated as follows will act as election officials: Voting District Polling Place City Hall Perry 80 South Main Perry, Utah LeRoy, Sr., and Madaliene Decker Eastman. She was formerly a student at Box Elder High school and had attended Flandreau High school, Flandreau, S.D. She was employed at Brigham Apparel at the time of her death. Surviving are her parents of Perry, three bothers and four sisters, LeRoy Eastman, Jr., serving with the U.S. Army in Willard South Vietnam; Eastman, Millard Eastman, Barbara Marie Eastman, Eastman, all of Perry; Mrs. Harvey (Kaye) Anderson, Brigham City; Mrs. Lewis (Marilyn) Winnegie, Tooele. Also surviving are her grandparents, Mrs. Mae D. Hicks, Tooele; Budd Decker, Blackfoot, Idaho. Burial was in Brigham City cemetery. The polls shall be open between the hours of 7:00 oclock a.m. and 8:00 oclock p.m. There is to be no special registration of voters for such election and the official register last made or revised shall constitute the register for such election, except that the County Clerk of Box Elder County will register at his office during the regular office hours, except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays and except during the period imwho on the bond the election, person any mediately preceding day of election will be a qualified elector and will register such persons as provided by law. The County Clerk will make available or will cause the registration agents to make available at the polling place a registration list or copy thereof listing all registered electors entitled to use such voting place. Notice is further given that on Friday, the 26th day of May, 1972, that being within ten days after said election, the City Council will meet at its regular meeting place in Perry City, Utah, at eight oclock p.m., and canvass the returns and declare the results of said election. Madaliene Ann Eastman, 17, Perry were held Saturday in the Olsen-Fel- t Funeral home in Brigham City. She was killed last week in an PROPOSITION Colorado Crash Hurts Carroll Hayden Damon, 82, South Fifth East, died Friday at home after a short illness. He was born May 27, 1889, in Hinckley Ridge, Ohio, to Charles Webster and Hattie L. Conant Damon. He married May Root, June 11, 1911, in Brunswick, Ohio. She 241 died Nov. 1, 1971. Damon has been a resident of Brigham City for two and a half years. He was a farmer and dairyman. He was a past member of the Farm Bureau and county fair board. Survivors include a son, Lewis H. Damon, Brigham City; three grandchildren and a great grandchild, sisters, Mrs. Ila Waite, and Mrs. Dorothea Burton, both Medina, Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday in the United Methodist church of Brunswick, Ohio. Burial will be in Brunswick. Local arrangements were made by the Petersen Funeral chapel. Former Brigham Man former Brigham City man, who was seriously injured in a recent automobile crash in the Denver area, is currently being treated in a Lakewood, Colo, hospital. Richard Hobson, 26, Denver, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Hobson, 545 North Second West, was paralyzed from the armpits down in the wreck, according to his mother. Hobson was in his own car at the time of the crash but a fellow employe was driving. They were between appointments for a land company where he is employed. Some gravel washed on the road and this caused the car to go out of control and flip over end over end once and a half times, his mother explained. A Susan Elizabeth Miller, daughter of Joe W. and Maurine Koyle Miller, Preston, formerly of Brigham City, died Tuesday in a Salt Lake City hospital of a heart ailment. Survivors include her parents; brothers and sisters, David, Lisa, Jonathon, Andrea, all of Preston; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Karl Koyle, Spanish Fork; Mr. and Mrs. George F. Miller, Albuquerque, N.M.; Leonard Hanson, Spanish Fork; Mrs. Mina Byford, San Diego, Calif.; Mrs. Mary Miller, Oak Ridge, Tenn. Funeral services were held Friday in Spanish Fork.
