Show 1 Teen Suffers Gun Wound An Ogden teenager was in satisfactory condition at the Valley hospital in Tremonton after he suffered a gunshot wound while hunting west of Kelton Saturday morning. Charles Edwin Hayne, no age listed, was wounded when he put his .22 caliber pistol in his holster and it discharged, according to Box Elder County Sheriff Warren W. Hyde. Sheriff Hyde said the bullet was lodged eight inches below the knee. Deputy Sheriff John Hapney accompanied the victim to Valley hospital. The teenager was hunting with another youth at the time of the accident but his name was not available. She then married Lewis Richard Gardner on March 11, 1938, in Ogden. She later received her endowments in the Logan LDS temple. She was a member of the Brigham City LDS Sixteenth ward and was a member of the Sixteenth Ward Relief society, a former secretary in the Relief society and past president of the Oak camp, Daughters of Utah Pioneers. of She also was the senior citizens committee.
