A' amC cdirrt' - -- - Ifc4. - Husky captured Service of Perry the Brigham City Slugger league Baseball crowned Friday by downing Valbergs, 1 to 0. Valbergs was the winner of of the season and the first-hal- f Husky took second-hal- f honors. Husky notched two victories this past week the second-hal- f title honors. It was a 3 victory over Dicks that spelled the difference. Dicks ended the second half with a 3 mark, good for second place. Top hitters for the champs were B. Hyer, G. Hyer, and M. Valaskas. For Dicks, the top batsmen were D. Korth, K. Sackett, and K. Andersen. Other leading hitters for the week included D. Wyatt and R. Call for Maddox; P. Skinner, P. Sebell and T. Williams for Stuarts. Also, T. McCabe, C. Hoesel and S. Harman for Valbergs. The playoff game between Husky and Valbergs, the first half winner, was scheduled for Friday morning at Rees Pioneer park. Elmer H. Ward, was a special guest at an exhibition game between the Detroit Lions and the Kansas City Chiefs in the Detroit stadium Saturday.
