While in Denmark, he labored in Copenhagen, Herning and Odense. Upon the completion of his mission, he spent a month touring the countries of Europe, accompanied by Elder Duane Olsen of Howell. The two missionaries returned to the United States aboard the Queen Elizabeth. Meeting the boat in New York harbor were Elder Johnsens mother, Mrs. Austin Johnsen, his sister, Gloria Vee Hamilton, and Mrs. Eph Jensen of Tremonton. The group spent four days in New York City visiting all points of interest, including the United Nations, Radio City, and several stage shows. Enroute to Utah, they visited for a day a Bellefontaine, Ohio, with Mrs. Hamilton. The four Utahns returned home by train. He is currently enrolled at USAC where he is taking a d course.
