Except for the obligation to pay the reasonable co6t and values of facilities or services afforded by the system and used by the City, as set forth in Section 8 of this ordi-- , nance, none of the covenants, agreements, representations, or warranties contained in this ordinance, or in the bonds issued hereunder shall ever impose or be construed as imposing - any liability, obligation or charge against the City, or its general credit, payable out of its general funds, or out of any funds derived from taxation, or from any source other than from the ownership and operation of the electric light and power system. Section 16. That if any section, paragraph, clause or provision of this ordinance shall be held to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the invalidity or unenforceability of such section, paragraph, clause or provision shall not affect any of the remaining provisions of this ordinance.
