Olsen and two sons of Mesa, Ariz. Mrs. Olsen is a sister of Mrs. Knudsen. Mrs. Mrs Viola Poulsen, Blanche Norton, Mrs. Edna Bell, Mrs. Ruby Mahoney, Phyllis, Gladys and LaDine Knudsen, ale daughters of the Knudsens. Bishop Glenn Knudsen, Henry Knudsen and their wives and families, sons of the Knudsens. In addition, there were 13 grandchildren present. Two daughters, Ruth Knudsen, who is in the Mission field, and Mrs. Ann Phelps, who lives in Malden, Mass., were unable to be there for the family reunion. Earl Olsen the former Miss Renee Halls Rae, of Akron, Ohio, have been Mr. and Mrs. Wil liam H. Stayner in Brigham City visiting with since June 23. They plan to leave this morning for their home. Miss Renee Balls Becomes The Bride Of Earl Olsen In Ceremony In Logan Temple June 1 1 ir Mr. and Mrs. Arden C. Balls of Brigham City announce the marriage of their daughter, Renee, to Earl Olsen, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Olsen of Richmond. Vows were taken Wednesday, June 11, in the Logan L. D. S. temple, with President Archie The bride Egbert officiating. was lovely in a white brocaded satin gown, fashioned wdth high round neckline. Parents of the bride and groom and aunts of the bride witnessed the ceremony. Following the nuptials, a wedding dinner was served at the s home for members of the wedding party. The newly-marriecouple then left for a honeymon trip to Idaho Falls and southern Idaho. Mrs. Arden C. Balls entertained at a trousseau tea in Renees honor Monday, June 2, at the home of Mrs. Villis Purser in Hyde Park. In the receiving wearline were the bride-elecing her wedding gown, Mrs. Balls wearing a navy blue dress, Mrs. Olsen wearing a gray print, and Mrs. Balls, grandmother of the bride, wearing a black dress. All had corsages of pink and white carnations. Miss Nannette Reeder and Miss Beth Lamb were in the trousseau room. Aileen Olsen had charge of the gift rooms, and gifts were received by Mar-gen- e Balls. The table was covered with a lace cloth over pink satin, and was centered with a four-tie- r wedding cake decorated in pink and white. Pink tapers in crys tal holders w'ere placed at either end. The room was decorated in roses of all shades. In charge of serving were Mrs. Bonnie Woolf, Mrs. Enetta Knowles, Mrs. Aietha Thurston, and Mrs. Villis Purser. Assisting were Rita Mae Olsen, LaConna Purser, Janice Knowles, Clarice Perkes, Carmen Lee, Mrs. Dixie Hillyard and Mrs. LuJean Nel sen. Mrs. Cleo Daines had charge of the guest book. All girls wore formats of pastel shades. Mrs. Dixie Hillyard enertain-efor Renee at a kitchen show er at her home in Smithfield May 29. Three-leggesack and funnel races also were run. Bishop Julius H. Campbell of Corinne won the Funny Clothes relay for bishops. Appetites next were satisfied of by refreshments consisting real barbecued beef sandwiches, pickles and soda pop. Emery E. Wight and J. C. Barker had charge. Directed by Elizabeth R. Madsen, a program followed with each of the nine wards participating. It included stunts, skits, music, dances, readings and pantomine, under the following titles: Eighth You Name ward, "Father Says It; Corinne No"; Fourth ward, "Sent Home; Harper ward, "Lady Cackle-bury- ; Seventh ward, "Hoodah day; Honeyville, "Grandmother, Mother, Daughter Dances; Third ward, The Letter; Bear River ward, and Country Cousins, Evans branch, Girls Duet. Concluding the entertainment around a bonfire prepared by Phyllis Knudson, Gladys Knudsen and Ruby Mahoney, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Knudsen, Brigham City, arrived home Thursday, June 26, from Long Beach, Calif., for a few months visit.
